Hi readers. A lot of you have been asking me to describe my impression of Kansans from a newcomer, outsider-looking-in perspective.
My general impression is that outside the KC metro area they’re not much different from typical, or average Texans. Stereotype from the movie Trains, Planes and Automobiles seems to cover it as accurately as you’re likely to find anywhere.

That hurt
Hi One Fly: But in a GOOD way, I hopes. Gracias, J
Still laughing!
elroyjones: Sort of warms the cockles of the heart. J
hmmm I only know Kansas baptists. Are the rednecks baptists too? The ones I know aren’t rednecks, really.
Azure James: I don’t know enough about it to have an opinion. In reality I don’t think Baptists are really Baptists in Kansas these days. Not in reality in the traditional sense, anyway. Same with rednecks. Just a bunch of woosie wannabe rednecks with no passion for traditional redneckism. They talk the talk but they aren’t testicular enough to walk the walk. Gracias, J
ok. south carolina and west virginia seem to have real rednecks though. In my opinon.
Thanks. Don’t know any one from Kansas. Gives me a picture of what to look for, rednecks and all. Chuckles. Blessings, M.
