Hi readers.  Back in the summer of 1961 the Rooskies were building the Berlin Wall and naturally we were all scared shitless they’d be wanting France or Britain next.  Because we were all dumber than cluckshit and we believed what the US government told us.

Anyway, July 1961, I was feeling patriotic as hell, wanted to kill me some young Russian guys.  Maybe shoot them, blow their damned brains from hell to breakfast.  Or maybe stab them with a bayonet close up, personal and bloody.  So I joined the US Army figuring they were the only branch of the service that actually rubbed up against Rooskies.

Damned Navy guys just floated around safely out in the ocean in ships loaded up with guns and munitions, never get a shot at a single Rooskie, most likely.  And the Air Force guys trained with .22 caliber rifles.  Jeeze.  Whoooo wants to shoot a damned Russian kid with a .22?  Stupid damned Air Force guys didn’t even march around carrying full field packs.

And the US Marines sounded okay, but how the hell would a Marine get all the way over to where there were Rooskies to be killed?  Ivan was going to be trying to hide behind that Berlin Wall.  Getting at him would be a job for good old American dogfaces, climbing over that wall and charging into machine guns aimed by Rooskie kids.  The best a Marine could hope for was maybe getting a chance to kill a Chinaman.

Whell hayuls bayuls!  I spent three years, went through the Cuban Missile Crisis, sea cruised to Japan and Korea and back, and never got to kill nobody, and especially not some Rooskie teenager with a bayonet nor hand grenade.

So I came home and the Vietnam War geared up, and I got out.  The guys who went in just after I did ended up killing all manner of brown people who didn’t need killing, but no damned Rooskies.  Nor Chinamen, either.

Later on guys volunteered to go kill brown people in wossname, Kuwait, Iraq, and that other place over there, Africanistan?  Something along those lines, anyway.  But the Rooskies had donealready pulled all their teenagers back inside their boundaries and good American boys couldn’t get at them.

But there’s still hope.  Some damned warlord over there is making a nuisance of himself and threatening to send some teenagers off to get their asses blown away, and the guy, wossname, in the White House is making noises suggesting he might lie claiming those Rooskie kids need killing.

He ought to have a belly full of killing brown people by now.  Rooskie white kids would be a refreshing change.  And meanwhile there’s that hodgepodge thing going on over in Western Iraq and Syria where the sky’s the limit.  Hells bells, just kill anythng that moves and you’ll hit someone who hates our guts.  Because we’ve probably blown the legs off their relatives one-time-or-another.

As a backup plan, if our boys run out of people to drop explosives on, there’s always white people living in Israel, but they’re harder targets, hiding in colonies over in Palestine.

Canned oxygen for sissies

Hi readers.

I finally just said, “To hell with it.”  Ordered something called Oxygen Boost in a can.  60 deep breaths per can.  Even though it doesn’t make a lot of sense, the oxygen-concentrating machine I used when I stayed at Eddie Brewer’s place last year seemed to help a lot.  Several times when I was in the midst of seemingly major events it brought them to an immediate halt.

The past few days around here, maybe because of the Orange Ozone Alert, have me thinking it’s time to give O2 another try, despite the fact the various sawbones haven’t seen fit to prescribe it.  I haven’t been able to exercise for several days, which they did prescribe.

Anyway, if these 60 breath cans of 02 get the job done I’ll be back banging on the door of the VA over in KC Missouri threatening to scream and hold my breath if they can’t bring themselves to prescribe something to fill in during those moments when Mother Earth just isn’t enough.

After all, is it not written, “You veterans are responsible for keeping us free!  You brave guys deserve the absolute best for killing all those brown people who wanted to take away our freedoms!  And while a lot of people can breathe easier because of all the freedoms you protected, if you breathe hard we can afford a bit of oxygen to help you along?”  Ahem.   You believe the bullshit comes out of the mouths of patriots?

Well, I’m truly moved, though I din’t kill any brown people who were trying to take away our freedom.  Got into a few fights with some in bars but nobody got hurt  too badly.  Bastards trying to steal our freedoms.

And I’d breathe more easily if someone over at the VA fixed me up with the freedom to breath when the going gets tough.

Is it not written, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going?”

I ain’t going anywhere without being able to, including all the usual mobility abilities.

Meanwhile there’s canned air at a price that’s probably a bargain considering I don’t drink bottled water.

Besides, the something for nothing  I’m going after is AIR!  What the hell can air cost when you buy it in volume?    Economy of scale.  That sort of thing.

Someone needs to tell the wife of that ex-US President to hush the hell up

Now the damned woman’s saying this guy in the What House should be showing leadership.  Jaysus H. Cheeeerist!  Leadership is the last thing we need in the What House.  Leadership manifested in the human form of a series of What House residents is what got us into this mess.

Leadership, for that matter, is what the What House missus and her butch ladyfriend, Janet Reno, demonstrated when they lined up the US Army, the US Navy, the US Airforce, the FBI, the DWI, the AWOL and everyone else available and  burned  Mount Pleasant down around the ears of dozens of men, women and children Christians.  Texas Christians.  Texas Christians who were never accused of breaking any Federal statute.

No, leadership, now and for the remainder of the 21st Century, is forbidden to enter the US Office of President.  Especially if anyone aspiring to that office should be elected to it.

Henceforth US leadership needs to come more openly from Israel.  Which is where it’s been coming from all along, but now it needs to be open and aboveboard about it.

At which time the systematic occupation of the What House by women, women of Hispanic Origin, women of Asian Origin, women of Native American Origin, women of female Origin can begin and continue until all catagories and subcatatories of women have occupied the What House, redecorated it, given it some tasteful alterations, new drapes and re-upholstered all the furniture.

Hi readers.

The Israeli manufacturers of Uzi submachine guns murdered a US citizen in Arizona recently by manufacturing and exporting to the United States instrument of his death.  The shooting instructor is evidently not of dual Israeli/US citizenship and it is not known at this time whether he was anti-Semitic in favor of Israel, or anti-Semitic in favor of Palestinians.

Israelis need to be cautioned the US will not sit by indefinitely as the target of this sort of terrorism-by-weapon-sale.  If it continues the US, the Prez should inform them, will begin sending thousands of anti-aircraft and ground-to-air missiles to Palestine to form a defensive shield similar to Iron Dome protecting Israel’s illegal colonies on Palestinian  land outside Israel.

Afterward if Israel continues assassinating US citizens who are not of dual citizenship the Prez should advise Israel we’ll send offensive weapons to Palestinians similar to the ones we sent Israel to invade and destroy Gaza.

Israeli terrorist firearms  attacks on US citizens have gone on too long.

A list of other incidents which indicate the degree of local racism are as follows:
Fall, 1994 – A nineteen-year-old African-American male was found hanged to death thirty miles north of Springfield. Although information to the contrary exists, his death was officially ruled a suicide.
December, 1997 – An African-decent man was brutally beaten by three European-American skinheads. He had to be taken to the hospital. Two of the skinheads were arrested, but they eventually received sentences of 5-years probation.June 17, 2001 – An African-American man was stabbed three times in a Denny’s Restaurant by skinheads (reportedly 15 skinheads-shaved heads, Aryan Nations tee-shirts, swastikas, and white supremacist tattoos). Although there were several witnesses at the time of the incident, no one had been arrested, despite the fact that the Justice Department was involved in the investigation. Community activists/advocates who had tried to get updated information about the case got no responses from the Justice Department representatives. Amazingly, around January 25, 2004, an announcement was made that local law enforcement officers along with the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) would be investigating the case. The community will have to see what happens.
August, 2001 – Four African-American county jail inmates were urinated on by two European-American jailers. Although the inmates had asked to speak to civil rights activists, such contact was denied. The inmates eventually received $25,000 settlements each. Yet most of them used the money to bail themselves out of jail, pay back child support and to pay their attorneys. At this writing, community activists/advocates who have filed a complaint about the incident with the U.S. Justice Department at the request of two inmates’ relatives have not received a response.August, 2002 – After an African-American man complained to the police chief about police harassment, he had a visit soon after from two European-American police officers who threatened to take him to jail if he ever complained to the chief again.October 2, 2002 – An African-descent male originally from Kenya was found hanged to death about a hundred feet away from the site of the 1906 lynching. His death was officially ruled a suicide, but community activists/advocates do not think so.

July 25, 2003 – An African-American youth (nineteen years old) was found dead hanging from a rope just outside of Springfield. This information circulated by word of mouth as the event did not end up being reported in the newspaper. Many people in the African-American community learned about the incident more than six months later.

“I don’t know how else to say it, but an angel appeared and saved Isaiah,” Brenda Clyburn said.

The man Isaiah’s grandmother calls an angel hasn’t been identified by police or prosecutors, but Blanton said a man who was driving along Ellis Ferry saw what was happening, pulled Isaiah into his car and called 911.

The suspects got back into their trucks, and Miller wrecked the truck he was driving in an effort to leave before police arrived, Blanton said.

Brenda Clyburn said she and her son, Steven, are thankful Isaiah received minor injuries.

Isaiah was released from Upstate Carolina Medical Center and is recuperating at home. He wasn’t present Friday afternoon for the bail hearing for each of his alleged attackers.

The Clyburn family doesn’t bear any ill will toward the teenagers, and Isaiah, who became a Christian three months ago, has asked for prayers.

“I don’t really understand what the boys were doing,” Brenda Clyburn said. “I don’t know if they really knew what they were doing, if they’re ashamed or what, but (the severity of the crime) seemed to hit them when police put handcuffs on them.

“This could have been a terrible tragedy, but Isaiah had angels looking after him.”

Assistant Solicitor Abel Gray requested high bail for each of the suspects, saying they pose a threat to the community and have no ties to Cherokee County.

Cates has a pending charge of malicious injury to personal property in Spartanburg County. None of the other suspects have prior criminal records.

Gray told Judge Frank Crocker that Isaiah’s father fears for his son’s safety and described the attack as “vicious and heinous.” Gray also pointed to the “randomness” and “severity” of the assault.

Crocker set bail for each of the suspects at $50,000, ordered them to be home by 9 p.m. each night, and instructed them not to have any contact with the Clyburn family.

The suspects, wearing dirt-stained clothes from the day before, didn’t speak at their hearing.

Their families, some of them tearful during the hearing, would not comment.

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — Hundreds looked on as an angry mob dragged a black University of Missouri janitor from his jail cell in April 1923, publicly lynching him before he could stand trial on charges of raping a white professor’s 14-year-old daughter.Historians say the instigators included some of Columbia’s most prominent citizens. The crowd that watched James T. Scott hang was filled with laughing and cheering students from the first public university west of the Mississippi River.Eighty-seven years later, civic leaders have come together to confront an ugly episode in Columbia and correct the record on the death of Scott, who insisted the rape allegation was a case of mistaken identity.Local filmmaker Scott Wilson teamed up last month with the Boone County medical examiner’s office to successfully lobby state officials to change the cause of death on Scott’s death certificate.The primary cause is now listed as “asphyxia due to hanging by lynching by assailants.” A secondary cause of “committed rape” was removed and now reads “never tried or convicted of rape.”“This was done solely for one purpose,” Dr. Michael Panella, associate medical examiner, said of the original listing. “And that was to justify an unjustifiable and heinous act.”
Scott, a 35-year-old married janitor at the medical school, was arrested April 21, 1923, one day after the reported rape of Regina Almstedt, the teenage daughter of a German literature professor.

The girl identified Scott based on his distinctive “Charlie Chaplin” mustache and a chemical odor she said her attacker carried. Scott maintained his innocence to the very end. With the noose at the ready, he spoke of his own 15-year-old daughter. He also identified a cellmate whom he said confessed to the attack.

Even the girl’s father implored the 1,000-man mob to spare Scott until he could stand trial. Hermann Almstedt was reportedly threatened with a lynching of his own. Scott was killed eight days after his arrest.

Several hundred people gathered Sunday at Second Missionary Baptist Church for a service organized to raise money for a headstone for Scott’s grave. A nondescript grave marker now designates his burial site in what was once the segregated section of the 190-year-old Columbia cemetery.

Organizers say the effort is about trying heal wounds from a decidedly dark chapter in local history.

Keynote speaker Patrick Huber, an associate professor of history at Missouri University of Science and Technology whose undergraduate thesis discussed the Scott lynching, said the killing was one of more than 4,000 racially motivated lynchings in this country from 1885 to 1923 — including 75 in Missouri.

Communities nationwide are working to re-examine histories of racist violent acts, said Mark Potok, who tracks hate crimes for the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery, Ala. Among those places is Tulsa, Okla., which recently opened a “reconciliation park” recognizing a deadly 1921 riot that killed dozens, injured hundreds and destroyed thousands of homes.

“There are more and more places around America trying to come to grips with their racial past,” he said.

Minneapolis resident Bradley Stewart was among those at the downtown Columbia church Sunday night. His sister Janna, a southern Missouri lawyer, described how their late father talked about attending Scott’s lynching as a 4-year-old.

Stewart said he came to the service “to bury family ghosts.”

Columbia mayor and longtime resident Bob McDavid said he only recently learned about Scott, but told those gathered that an event recent enough to occur in the their lifetime was one that never should be forgotten.

“The James Scott lynching did not happen in a different world, in a different time or a different place,” he said.

That way lies madness: Sandy Hook conspiracy hoax

Hi readers.  Thanks for coming by for a read.

I first encountered crisis actors as a concept back in New Mexico in Emergency Management.  When we, or local governments would perform disaster exercises there’d always have to be victims, people to pretend to be crying bystanders, whatever.  Volunteers, mostly.

But we program managers with Emergency Management Planning and Coordination Bureau [EMPAC] attended a lot of conferences and watched a lot of disaster films.  And we often joked that the crying victims of hurricanes, tornado victims in front of destroyed trailer houses in the midwest, and earthquake victims in California all appeared to be the same people.  When we’d view the films one-right-after-another I swear they were identical!

I hadn’t thought about that in a long time.  But then I stumbled across a series of YouTube videos about Sandy Hook, about which I knew only fragments, and discovered there’s a host of people who believe the massacre in that school was a hoax.  And furthermore, they construct logical arguments based on apparently sound evidence.

After watching some of the videos it’s clear crisis actors and their use has become a lot more sophisticated and manipulative.  And that, by doing so, [provided it’s not actually a hoax] they play directly into the hands of those who build the case supporting the hoax suppositions.

The problem with anything as pervasive as this is:  it leaves nothing intact.  Once a person accepts the premise a conspiracy of this size could exist, anything is possible, everything is quicksand.

What’s disturbing, or would be disturbing if I gave a damn, is the fact nobody’s bothering to answer the questions the hoax-believers are asking.  The claims they are making should be easy enough, incredibly simple to disprove.

I’m not referring to blanket-scoffing, ad hominin disclaimers.  The thing’s gone far enough so’s, “You must be crazy!” or “What have you been smoking?” aren’t sufficient.  Brushing aside legitimate holes in the official version of the story only lends itself to more conviction on the side of those teetering near belief.

Which lends strength to my kung fu approach to the puzzle:  I don’t give a damn.  I don’t dare give a damn.  And if I did dare give a damn I’d have to question my sanity.

Time Traveler President of the US in 2016

Hi readers.  Thanks for coming by for a reead.

I began watching this stuff a couple of days ago when I experienced a setback in my physical situation and couldn’t do my daily exercize routines without undoing a lot else.  So to pass the time I began browsing through the YouTube pantheon of weirdness.

Interestingly, Andrew Basiago’s arrived amidst a forest of familiar trees.  He says the was trained for the Pegasus Project by Ed Danes, whom I’d read because of flirting with remote viewing a decade or more ago.  And Pegasus mightn’t have been headquartered at Socorro, New Mexico, where I lived from 1995 until 1999, but it had a presence there.  Back when during the late 1990s Mel King and I were attempting to build a time machine, reading about Montauk and anything else we could find about time travel.  Pegasus came up a fair amount.

I hadn’t thought about any of that for what?  Decades?  At least a good many years.  So I was surprised to find myself listening to this guy and watching videos of him talking about some ground I once covered as thoroughly as I felt able.

He says Ed Danes told him back in the 1970s he was going to be President, though maybe not immediately following his fellow Pegasus member, the guy in the White House now.  [Who was also told by Ed Danes at that same time, he would serve as President.  The White House guy now, we’re told, was also a Pegasus operative.]

So, while I don’t vote, couldn’t care less who sits in the White House, and probably won’t live to see who wins the next Presidential election anyway, I find the entire subject interesting enough to occupy a few minutes of my diminishing sand from the top of the hourglass.

Good for some smiles and knowing I ain’t going to vote anyway it’s good to know there’s a candidate at least as unlikely as my own life has been.  He carries a heavy advantage in my view by not being Democrat, nor Republican, nor Independent.  That offsets almost anything else he isn’t.  Including sane, if he happens not to be.

And if, as he asserts, the guy in the White House now has traveled in time and has visited our colony on Mars, hell, it might explain a lot.

Somewhat mildly exciting in an abstract sort of way.

Where desert mountain waits

Sun dried jerky of your past
Lies heavy on the stomach-heart
Grumbles, protests, lingers
Long, long after cactus
Arid faith
Uprooted by a desert mountain
Cloudburst flood
Has withered, blunted tines
No longer barbed
While jerky past still grumbles
Lies heavy on the stomach heart.

Lie still and watch
Lantern sun swings overhead
This banner day
Sliver moon salutes from darkened sky

Take heart.  Take heart.  Take heart.

Move the grumble upward to a song
To tines’ decay

Take heart take heart take heart

While dormant hidden succulents
Await return of desert mountain
Cloud burst flood
And full moon rises.
